Lloiann Byers Celebrates 8 Years at Alexander Youth Network!
Happy 8-year “AYN*niversary” to our Lead Licensing Specialist, Lloiann Byers!
Lloiann worked at Rutherford County DSS for 10 years as a foster care worker prior to working for Alexander. In that capacity, she was already familiar with the foster parents at Alexander, as she had been placing children in these home for many years. When the time came to make a change in her career, Lloiann knew she still wanted to work in foster care, but in a different capacity and a position became available in working with staff and foster parents with whom she already had a great relationship.
“I immediately knew this was the job for me because of the high caliber of foster parents licensed with our agency and the supportive staff and camaraderie they have with each other,” Lloiann said.
When asked what she loves most about working for Alexander, Lloiann said, “It’s the love the support that I receive from my co-workers and other staff. It inspires me to be just as helpful to them. Equally important, I love our mission and the impact we have on youth and families.”
“I am grateful for the supportive staff of many whom are also my closest friends,” Lloiann said about her experience at Alexander. “I am grateful for the opportunities for growth and development in my career and the knowledge that my work is valued and impactful.”
