Alexander Youth Networks provides specialized individual and family outpatient therapy services to children and youth ages 4-18 years old. Our Outpatient Therapy model of care offers a full range of services including evaluation, therapy, and medication management in a variety of settings including telehealth (virtual), offices, and in schools. Our therapists are trained in specialized therapy models proven to aid in the healing of trauma-related symptoms in children and youth.

Treatment

Our licensed therapists conduct assessments that examine a child’s:

• Medical, family, and social history
• Growth and development
• Trauma history
• Past and present experiences
• Presenting problems
• Previous treatment history

Collaborative Care with Families and Caregivers

Our outpatient treatment allows our therapists to gradually build a relationship with a child as well as collaborate with the family unit and others involved in the child’s life to develop an understanding of the underlying issues leading to emotional and behavioral challenges and how to address them.

Our therapists are trained to help families deal with a variety of mental and behavioral health concerns including but not limited to:

• Attention problems – ADHD
• Grief and loss
• Depression
• Mood swings
• Sleep difficulties
• School problems
• Traumatic events
• Self-esteem issue

What Makes Us Unique?

We offer services to meet the needs of diverse populations by having a contracted Spanish-speaking interpreter.

Our therapists specialize in assessments of past traumatic issues related to neglect, domestic violence, abuse, and/or loss.

Medication management services and psychological testing through our Outpatient department.

We can coordinate referrals to additional services within our service array to provide more intensive treatment if needed.
