Rapid and Transitional Therapeutic Foster Care

Providing relief in time of need

While utilizing this service children and families are provided with support including:

  • Individual structure with the goal to minimize disruptive behaviors
  • Treatment management information for the family, caregivers, and other individuals involved in the child’s care
  • Specific, individualized interventions, or crisis prevention management with the goal of keeping the child in a naturally occurring community support system
  • Providing the child and family/caregivers with community services and resources
  • Availability for immediate response and placement for up to ten days
  • Creating a Child-Centered Response Plan

Collaborative Care With Family and Caregivers

Treatment:
Short-term treatment within 24 hours to support family stability, prevent abuse and neglect, and provide structure, supervision, and a therapeutic environment for children. This treatment does not require CCA or documentation.
Ages:

Primarily 10-15 years old

Length of Stay:

The average length of treatment is usually up to 10 days.

Treatment:

Partnership with Pinnacle and Thompson to provide short-term, transitional therapeutic environments for children. This treatment must be referred through Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) and requires documentation.

Ages:
Primarily 10-15
Length of Stay:
The average length of treatment is usually 30 days or less.
