Alexander is a 6-year-old Shetland Sheepdog who visits with the children in our Psychiatric Residential Treatment Program with Dorothy Wiland.

How often do you visit Alexander?

Dorothy and Alexander have been visiting the kids in the residential program once a month for about 2 years.

What is your pet’s favorite activity with the kids?  Alexander with his Onyx ribbon

He loves to show off all of his tricks with the kids to collect hugs and kisses instead of treats.

What do you and your pet like to do in your spare time?

Just hang out or chase birds! We walk the neighborhoods near our house a few times a week.

Any fun facts about Alexander?

Alexander has a champion trick title! He is also trained in agility, obedience, and has competed in racing in flyball.
