Celebrating Our Kids postponed for the safety of all.
Together we are learning to navigate our current reality, adjusting to new daily routines and anxiously awaiting the news that will bring hope to the uncertainty around us. This time has been incredibly challenging for Alexander Youth Network, having to adjust programs and services and provide additional support to our children and families including food access, technology, and safety.
Through this time, we are working hard to make the best decisions for both our organization and those who support us.
This year, we made the hard decision to postpone Celebrating Our Kids due to COVID-19. Celebrating Our Kids, our annual luncheon, is our largest fundraiser, raising critical dollars to support the programs, services, and children of Alexander Youth Network. Unlike most years, Celebrating Our Kids will now take place this fall on Thursday, September 10, 2020.
The new date is giving us the hope we need to remind us that life will get better. It is similar to the messages of positive encouragement that we give the kids at Alexander to look beyond their traumas to heal and become stronger for it. We hope that you join us in building hope and raising awareness for children’s mental and behavioral health and the kids at Alexander Youth Network this fall.
