Need Help

Get Help

Raising a child is challenging, even when that child does not have emotional challenges or behavior problems.  When they do, parenting is virtually impossible to do alone. When you need help and support, Alexander Youth Network is here with therapy designed to work for you. Whether your child needs occasional outpatient therapy for a rough patch, or at-home family therapy that’s more intensive, we can help with different services to treat everything from anxiety to depression. We can also help with destructive or negative behaviors at school.

What’s the first step?  Call us at 855.362.8470 for help… all it takes is a little time and you will feel better.

What do you mean by “emotional challenges”?

Is your child depressed or withdrawn? Is she angry for no reason or not getting along well with others? Has she had suicidal thoughts or feelings, possibly due to a past history of abuse or domestic violence? You are not alone.

If this behavior is getting in the way of your child’s ability to enjoy family life and school, it’s time to ask for help. A simple phone call is all it takes to get started. Call our Access team at 855.362.8470 to share your concerns and we will take the next step with you.

What do you mean by “behavior problems”?

Is your child defiant? Does he talk back at you or use profanity? Is he getting into fights or harming others? Is he stealing or hoarding? Does he run away? You are not alone.

It doesn’t have to be this way. Without help, behavior can spiral out of control, and before you know it family life and school become chaotic and unmanageable. In many cases, these behaviors are a result of emotional hurt. Let us help you find the cause and put a plan in place to make it better.

What is the admission process like?

Quick and easy. You will sit with a licensed therapist who will talk to you and your child about what issues the family is facing. You can either drop by during Walk-in hours or you can make an appointment.

When you are finished, you will leave our Child and Family Therapy office with a clear understanding of what’s going on, what therapy could help you and how to get started.

What if we’re not ready for therapy?

It’s a big decision and one that you and your family need to feel good about.  Remember that when you are ready, Alexander is here, ready to help.
