PRESS ROOM FAST FACTS SPECIAL EVENTS CONTACT

Alexander provides numerous ways for corporations to become involved either as financial supporters of our mission, or as active participants in fulfilling that mission.
Some of the ways corporations have become actively involved with Alexander in the past include:
Facility Improvement
Companies regularly assist us with facility improvements and beautification. We appreciate the assistance of architects, contractors, construction firms, engineers, and others to keep our physical plant in top shape.
Fundraising Events
Alexander seeks companies to plan and execute company-sponsored fundraising activities such as golf tournaments, bake sales, and more. We also seek sponsors for agency-planned events such as our "Celebrating Our Kids!" luncheons.
Gifts In-Kind Drives
Companies have helped seasonally with employee or customer drives to obtain school supplies, children’s clothing and more.
Outing Sponsorships
Children have enjoyed company-sponsored and led outings to the zoo, a park, or other entertainment venue. They are a easy, inexpensive way to get employees involved in our mission.
Matching Funds
Many businesses match employee contributions to Alexander. Before you give individually, find out if your company offers matching gifts.
Business Overstocks
Many businesses provide Alexander with unneeded inventory, including office equipment, furnishings, non-perishable food, medical supplies.
Angel Network
Alexander’s Angel Network program helps provide holiday gifts of toys and clothing to children in our programs, many who come from families in poverty. We look for companies to sponsor a child, a residential treatment facility, or a day treatment classroom, as well as companies to provide assistance in gift wrapping and sorting.

"Shelco has participated in several construction projects on campus in recent years and has seen first-hand the commitment to children being made by Alexander Children's Center."
Ike Grainger, Vice President of Marketing for Shelco

"The Bonsal company has been fortunate enough to be involved with ACC for several years. The former owner of the company, W.R. ‘Rocky’ Bonsal III, served on the Board of Directors. The Community Outreach Committee for Bonsal became involved in 1995, as part of the company's 100th anniversary. We were looking for ways to give back to the community as part of the celebration. I will never forget the first time we (the Committee) visited ACC. It was such a moving experience. Being a mother, it was incomprehensible to me what these children had gone through. At one point, while we were walking around the campus, we all just stopped and looked at each other and together we said, "This is it. This is what we have to do!" So we have tried since that day to help ACC help these kids. It has been an indescribable experience. One that I recommend highly."
Bonnie Johnson, Bonsal Community Outreach
