Alexander Youth Network offers a competitive benefits program to meet the needs of a diverse workforce. The following is a summary of some of the benefits offered to our employees.

Group Medical Insurance
Group medical insurance is provided through Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina for all regularly employed staff who work 30 or more hours per week. Alexander Youth Network pays 100% of the premium for full-time employees under Blue Care (HMO).

Vision Benefits
Vision is provided by Blue Cross Blue Shield: Co-pay for routine vision exams. The premium for this plan is included with the cost of the Group Medical Insurance.

Voluntary Dental Plan
Our group dental insurance is provided through Securian for all regularly employed staff who work 30 or more hours per week. Alexander Youth Network pays 60% of the premium for full-time employees only.

Life Insurance
All full-time employees of Alexander Youth Network are covered at no charge under the Life Insurance policy.

Annual Leave
Alexander Youth Network provides paid time off from work for regularly employed full-time and part-time staff. It is expected that staff will take earned leave days and that this leave time will enable them to do a better job in serving our clients. Paid time off is earned by each staff member and is expected to be used for vacation, illness and other needs.

Tuition Reimbursement
Tuition reimbursement is available to staff employed full time and for courses or degrees related to current position at Alexander Youth Network. Reimbursement for courses taken at an institution other than the University of NC at Charlotte will be made for tuition costs up to, but not exceeding, the in-state tuition costs of an equivalent course at UNCC.

Cafeteria
Alexander Children's Center houses a cafeteria on campus in which employees can eat during their normal working hours for free.

Parking
Alexander Children's Center provides free parking directly in front of the facility.
