We are proud to announce that Ashley Conrad, MSL, has been named President of Alexander Youth Network.
As the agency continues to evolve to meet the needs of kids in North Carolina and the changing landscape for healthcare in the state, Conrad will be vital in maintaining the vision of our organization.
Ashley Conrad will be responsible for daily operations of our programs and services as well as finance, performance improvement, and clinical services. Craig Bass will continue to serve as Chief Executive Officer, focusing strategic development and stakeholder relations.
Ashley is dedicated to the mission of Alexander Youth Network and passionate about providing kids with top-notch services to meet their mental and behavioral health needs. She has a unique aptitude for building relationships with team members and stakeholders that will help prepare Alexander and our partners for the new healthcare landscape in North Carolina.
Conrad has been with Alexander Youth Network for 11 years. She started with the agency in 2007 as a Program Manager in Gaston County at Beacon Hall Day Treatment. She led the exponential growth of our programs in the Partners region and established our programs in Shelby, NC as Executive Director in 2009. She then moved to Winston-Salem to join Youth Opportunities (now our Triad division) as CEO. Following the merger of Youth Opportunities and Alexander Youth Network, Ashley returned to Charlotte as our Chief Strategy Officer.
Ashley Conrad has over 20 years of experience in behavioral health including her direct care experience as a Certified Recreational Therapist. Conrad graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a degree in Therapeutic Recreation and completed her Master’s Degree in Organizational Change and Leadership from Pfeiffer University.
