ALEXANDER FRIDAYS, CHARLOTTE
2nd Friday of each month
Join Us Monthly for Alexander Fridays
Alexander Friday is a free one-hour introduction to Alexander Youth Network held at noon on the 2nd Friday of each month at Alexander's main campus off Thermal Road in southeast Charlotte. The event consists of a free lunch, a tour of the facilities, and participation in the children's weekly awards program. The event lasts approximately one hour and visitors are not asked to contribute to the agency's mission. The goal is to share with the community the scope of mental illness in our midst and how Alexander is making a difference in the lives of children and families.
Reservations for the event are required. To inquire, or reserve a space, contact Suzanne Donati at 704-362-6758, or by email at advancement@alexanderyouthnetwork.org.
Dates for 2008 are:
Jan. 11, Feb. 8, March, 14, April 11, May 9, June 13, July 11, Aug. 8, Sept. 12, Oct. 10, Nov. 14 and Dec. 12.

Lunch with The Relatives
4th Friday of each month
Join Us Monthly for Lunch and Tour at The Relatives
Fridays @ The Relatives is a free lunch and tour on the 4th Friday of each month at noon at The Relatives youth crisis shelter at 1100 East Boulevard in Charlotte. The event lasts approximately one hour and visitors are not asked to contribute to the agency's mission. The goal is to share with the community the scope of teenage homelessness in our area and show what The Relatives does to help.
Reservations for the event are required. To inquire, or reserve a space, contact cvandermark@alexanderyouthnetwork.org or call The Relatives at 704-377-0602.
2008 dates are:
Jan. 25, Feb. 22, March 28, April 25, May 16 (moved due to Memorial Day), June 27, July 25, Aug. 29, Sept. 26, Oct. 31, and Dec. 5 (Nov. and Dec. dates are consolidated due to the holiday schedule).
Celebrating Our Kids: Sounds of Laughter

It's time to put the Celebrating Our Kids annual luncheon on the calendar. The 2008 event will be held April 1 at noon at The Westin Hotel in downtown Charlotte. The theme for this year's luncheon is Celebrating Our Kids: Sounds of Laughter.

The Celebrating Our Kids luncheon is a free, one-hour inspirational lunch that shares the successes of Alexander's staff and clients. Last year's luncheon raised over $400,000 to support the mission of the agency
Charlotte Checkers Benefit Game Night
